Water-repellent, continuous MinWool-1200® Pipe and Tank Wrap ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ is made from basalt, a volcanic rock, and bound with a thermosetting resin. Advanced manufacturing technology ensures that our mineral wool products have consistent product quality, with high fiber-density and low shot-content, for excellent performance in thermal control, acoustical and fire-resistant applications.Ìý

Features

Thermal Performance -ÌýÌýGood thermal conductivity values help maximize control of heat loss, contributing to reduced operating costs and greater energy savings. High dimensional stability and low shrinkage reduce the potential for gaps forming at joints.

Lightweight, Low Dust -Ìý Easy to handle and fabricate, these blankets cut cleanly with a knife. Clean handling properties help reduce irritation and minimize job clean-up time and expense.

Low Smoke & Flame Spread -ÌýWhen tested in accordance with ASTM E84, MinWool-1200 Pipe & Tank Wrap blankets have a flame spread rating of 25 and a smoke developed rating of 5.

Water-Repellent - Help mitigate the risk of water intrusion. MinWool-1200 Pipe & Tank Wrap performs in accordance with BS EN 1609:2013, absorbing less than 0.35 kg/m2 of water during water absorption tests at temperatures up to 425°F (218°C).
